Kyte said in addition to the flags, a rainbow crosswalk will be drawn connecting the library and town hall.
During last Tuesday's council meeting, Chris Kyte, founder of Renfrew Pride, along with Jill Holroyd, Chapter Lead of PFlag Renfrew County, comprised a delegation which included a request of council to authorize the building of a progressive themed sidewalk which will include a row of gay-oriented flags lining both sides of the road. Es of Railway Avenue having new flags installed, all of which will be progressive in nature and promote the Town of Renfrew as a welcoming, inclusive community.
